Brussels Global Fellowship Scholarships for future global leaders
A scholarship program of the Munich European Forum

Preparing principled global leaders.

The Brussels Global Fellowship is a scholarship program supporting the Munich European Forum. We ensure that talented students and professionals — especially from underserved and underrepresented regions — can take part in the Brussels European Forum, MEF's award-winning program in diplomacy, negotiation, and international cooperation.

About the Brussels Global Fellowship

The Brussels Global Fellowship funds scholarships so that access to the Brussels European Forum is defined by potential — not by circumstance. Every fellowship is a direct investment in the next generation of diplomats, policymakers, and civic leaders.

Munich European Forum

Established in Munich in 1994, MEF is a non-profit association dedicated to educating students and young professionals in diplomacy, negotiation, strategy, and global affairs. Its founding values — cooperation, tolerance, and inclusiveness — anchor an international community of members, alumni, and academic partners.

Brussels European Forum

BEF is MEF's award-winning annual program in Belgium. Over one intensive week, participants engage in simulations of the European Union, NATO, and the G-20, alongside briefings with policymakers and experts at institutions in Brussels — rigorous exercise combined with genuine institutional exposure.

Our role

We remove financial barriers so that the BEF participant community reflects the diversity of the world it aims to serve. Support the fund, apply for a fellowship, or connect with the program below.

Who the fellowship serves

Undergraduate and graduate students, recent graduates, and early- to mid-career professionals from around the world — especially those selected based on merit regardless of socioeconomic status within their community or country.

No prior participation in Model UN, Model NATO, or similar programs is required. We look for potential, purpose, and a readiness to contribute.

Support the fellowship

One fellowship. One participant. Lifelong impact. Your gift funds a scholarship for a future leader who may not otherwise attend the Brussels European Forum.
